Hello, I’m Brendan Nelson and I am excited to be helping future Robert Morris students and their families transition from high school to college. I enjoy the opportunity to meet a diverse group of students and show them everything that Robert Morris University has to offer. I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh and attended Allegheny College where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in History. As an undergrad I was a member of the rugby team and also wrote for the school newspaper. During my senior year I worked as a tour guide in the admissions office.  This was a great experience that convinced me that admissions counseling was the career for me.  I graduated in 2007 and worked at a small institution in Boston, MA before returning to Pittsburgh as part of the staff here at RMU.

My favorite part of this job is working directly with students so please let me know if there is anything I can help you with. Going from being a high school senior to a freshman in college is an exciting transition and I am happy to assist you though that process.
