Dr. Daniel Shelley joined RMU as the director of the Elementary Education Program. He came to us from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chair of the Elementary Education Department. Previously, he was an elementary school teacher in the Connellsville Area School District and an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh.

Shelley received his Ph.D from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985 in elementary/middle school education, his M.Ed. from The Pennsylvania State University in 1974 in social sciences/American history and his bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1972 in elementary education.
