How do I apply for Aid?
The process of applying for financial aid is simple.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is
required to apply for financial aid using our school code
of 003359. All students are encouraged to apply for
financial assistance as soon after January 1 as possible,
but no later than May 1.
After you file a FAFSA, the information is forwarded to
RMU by the federal government. You will receive a
Student Aid Report (SAR) which indicates your application
has been received and processed. At this time, you may
be required to provide additional information to RMU,
such as tax returns or financial statements to verify the
accuracy of the information listed on the SAR. The Financial Aid office will notify you if additional information is required.
Generally, financial aid eligibility is based on the previous year’s income information. If your financial situation has changed substantially during the year or since completing the FAFSA, you may request to have your aid re-evaluated.
