Gift Aid for Freshmen
Robert Morris University offers various scholarships to incoming freshmen students on the basis of academic excellence and demonstrated achievement. Scholarships are funds awarded to students who show promise of high achievement in academics, athletics or other areas. RMU also offers some need-based grants for qualified students with remaining financial need. There are also Federal and State agencies that provide need-based grants for students who qualify. Criteria for grants can vary among agencies.
Presidential (Full Tuition) Scholarship
Our top 30 to 40 freshmen applicants are invited to compete for limited number of full-tuition scholarships in early winter.
Merit Scholarship
Incoming Freshmen are awarded these funds based on their academic achievements. Merit scholarships can range from $4,000 to $11,000 per academic year.
BK Simon Free Enterprise Scholarship
The B. Kenneth Simon Foundation sponsors the B. Kenneth Simon Free Enterprise Scholarship. One recipient per year is chosen to receive this scholarship. It is renewable for four years and has a value of $6,000 per year or a total value of $24,000 over four years. To learn more about this scholarhip's requirements, click here.
Robert Morris Grant
This is a need-based University grant. The amount is determinded based on the level of the student's
financial need.
