- A:While having a computer is not a necessity at RMU, it is a convenience. RMU offers several large and small computer facilities where students can complete their work, free of charge. Computers are located in strategic places throughout campus and the residence halls are wired for Internet access. Having a computer is a convenience some students enjoy. Prospective students are encouraged consult with RMU's computer network officials before purchasing computer equipment to ensure their purchase will be compatible with the RMU system.
