• Q:What happens after I file my FAFSA form?
  • A:The information which you provide on the FAFSA form is sent to the federal processor, your state grant agency and to the college / universities you list as school choices. Once your information is received by the federal processor you will receive information electronically, if you applied online or you will receive a paper Student Aid Report (SAR) if you applied by paper. The college / universities will in turn send to you an award letter telling you of your eligibility.
